Jamahook provides an AI-powered sound matching system that analyzes the musical qualities of audio projects to find complementary loops instantly. The platform listens to music in real-time, capturing tempo, harmonic makeup, groove, rhythm, feeling, mood, genre, and instrument characteristics to generate unique audio signatures. These signatures are compared against loop databases to deliver ranked matches that prioritize the closest musical fits.

The system operates through two primary modes. Cloud Matching connects producers to a growing library of over 100,000 high-quality, royalty-free loops that can be purchased with monthly credits and used commercially. Local Matching allows producers to search their own sound libraries by indexing locally stored audio files through the Offline Agent, enabling discovery of forgotten recordings and samples within existing collections.

Jamahook incorporates pitch-shifted matching technology that identifies harmonically compatible loops in different keys and automatically transposes them to match the project. The matching algorithm supports harmonic, rhythmic, and drum-based search strategies, with advanced filtering by instrument, mood, and genre. All matches are automatically adjusted to the project's BPM and key for seamless auditioning directly within the DAW.

The technology was developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer IDMT's Semantic Music Technologies Group, utilizing AI-based classification systems and deep neural networks. The platform processes acoustic and psychoacoustic properties through multi-modal analysis to match the overall feeling of productions while delivering time and efficiency savings during the creative process.
