AudioCipher is a music production tool designed to help artists generate MIDI ideas and manage their creative assets efficiently. The software features a text-to-MIDI generator that converts words into chord progressions and melodies instantly, providing unlimited creative variations based on different scales, chord extensions, and rhythm randomization. Users can select from nine scales, define BPM, choose between melody and chord output types, and control rhythm parameters. The generator produces MIDI that can be fine-tuned in a piano roll editor before being dragged directly into DAW tracks.

The MIDI Vault is AudioCipher's file management system that stores both MIDI and audio files together in organized cards. Users can tag their files with metadata including key, BPM, genre, instrument, and mood, making it easy to filter and locate ideas quickly. The system supports bulk file import and allows users to preview both MIDI and audio files within the application before dragging them into their DAW. All files are stored locally, requiring no internet connection for operation. The Vault enables users to share collections by exporting cards and helps prevent creative ideas from getting buried in old DAW projects.

AudioCipher is compatible with major digital audio workstations including Ableton, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Reaper, Reason 13, Garageband, and Studio One. The software is available for Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 or later. Version 4.0 represents a significant evolution of the original text-to-MIDI plugin, joining repeating notes and offering closed harmony for improved musical output.
